    NOTE 1.  Eligible for export as follows subject to inspection for equipment
        specified in Chapter XII of Inspection Handbook (1/10/39):

    NOTE 2.  Five-place airplanes must have:
        (a)  Additional safety belt installed on rear seat.
        (b)  Baggage compartment placarded as follows unless actual weight and
             balance shows a lesser restriction necessary:
             "Maximum allowable 100 lbs.
             Maximum with 3 passengers on rear seat 0 lbs."

    NOTE 3.  Standard weight in excess of 3200 lbs. (maximum 3350 lbs.).
        (a)  Controllable metal or automatic metal propeller must be installed.
        (b)  Serial numbers 4326 and up are eligible.  (These airplanes have revised
             interplane strut fitting, landing gear and certain members of the
             fuselage structure.)
        (c)  Serial numbers 3951 thru 4325 are eligible upon receipt of manu-
             facturer's affidavit that pertinent airplane has best reinforced in
             accordance with approved technical data.  (Serial numbers 4304, 4309,
             4312, 4313, 4314, 4316 and 4319 have been so reinforced.)

    NOTE 4.  Models CUC-1 and CUC-2 same as model CUC except engines.  Model CUC-1
        approximately 20 lbs. heavier than model CUC, and model CUC-2 approximately
        40 lbs. heavier than model CUC.  All CUC-2 airplanes must have:

        (a)  One-half inch fuel line and fittings installed between strainer and
             carburetor.
        (b)  Placard displayed in fuel valves stating:  "Always use both tanks for
             take-off and for flight at low altitudes."
        Inspector's report should include notation that above requirements are
        complied with
