and lower wing rear spar reinforcement extended and the rear interplane
struts increased in size in accordance with approved technical data
(manufacturer's affidavit required).

NOTE 2. All airplanes eligible as amphibian type provided weight and balance
report including list of equipment included in certificated weight empty,
and loading instructions when necessary, is submitted for each aircraft
with original inspector's report and each subsequent report covering changes
in such equipment.

NOTE 3. Five-place airplanes must have:
(a) Additional safety belt installed on rear passenger seat.
(b) Baggage capacity reduced to 75 lbs. unless actual weight and balance
shows a lesser restriction necessary.
NOTE 4. Serial numbers 3856 and up eligible at standard weight of 3250 lbs.
with the following:
(a) Landing gear per Waco Drawing 20497 and structural changes outlined in
pages 8 and 9 of Waco Report 383. (These changes incorporated at
factory on serial numbers 4268 and up.)

(2) Large size UMF vertical tail surfaces (rudder height
58-9/16 inches.)
