The "N" number was never reassigned so it still applies to the airplane. Entire history of the plane and I have been in contact with the son of the original owner. Someone purchasing the paperwork may have a Waco 10 project that is an assembly of parts. The project could then be licensed in the Standard Category when completed. Wanted: The J-2 Cub was originally sold with a fire extinguisher, a tool kit and a first aid kit, as list in the sales brochure. The fire extinguisher was an aircraft type Pyrene brand with a nickel plated finish. It is listed in the J-2 parts book on drawing E2-8095. I assume that it was just stored in the baggage compartment and did not have a mounting bracket. Does anyone have a picture of the fire extinguisher or know anyone who has one? I have no information on the tool kit and would appreciate any information you may have regarding the tools. The first aid kit is also a blank, except that is listed in the parts book on drawing E2-8096. Does anyone have any information about the first aid kit as well or do you know where I could get a copy of these E-2 drawings? I would appreciate any information or photo's on Pyrene brand, aircraft type fire extinguishers that were supplied with the aircraft in the 1930's, and information on the first aid kit and tool kit supplied with E 2 and J 2 Cubs.
