Converted to Tank engine during rebuild in 1930 by Ray Hegy of Hartford,
Wisconsin, and still has the Tank mount with original cowling. Historians claim
it to be the first aircraft sold new in Hartford Wisc., Last worked on in the
1950's & 60's by Ray Hegy. Sold to J. Thurman in 1964 and remained in that
family for 30 years. Fuselage in excellent shape as left by Hegy with dual
controls, original seats installed (front seat appears to have original
upholstery) trim system, throttle, gas tank , instrument panel included plus new
sheet metal. Wings and most hardware there, wings need to be rebuilt. Includes
mostly complete Tank engine less 3 cylinders. Original logs and documentation.
